Nizwa is renowned for its lively Friday cattle market, where a spirited goat auction takes place.

- Jebel Al Akhdar : The term "Akhdar" translates to "Green" in Arabic, and as you ascend the mountain, you'll come across fruit and vegetable gardens cultivated on the man-made terraces carved into the mountainside. - Birkat Al Mouz : This charming settlement oasis is nestled at the base of the majestic Jebel Al Akhdar mountain. During our visit, we'll embark on a brief walk amidst the dilapidated, traditional mud and clay structures that encircle the abandoned village of Sal Saybani. We'll stroll through vibrant banana and date plantations and explore the ancient Falaj Al Khatmeen water delivery system, which has been acknowledged by UNESCO World Heritage for its significant Omani contribution to agricultural development.
